Twisting the Torah, and “Bible Stories” Told by Self-Avowed “Witches”

The other night I was listening to Ben Shapiro. Sometimes I find his reactions to “Woke” TikToks amusing. Yet, the subject itself is extremely dark and no joking matter, albeit how laughable and insanely bizarre people’s statements and logic seems to be.

I came across the piece below, in which he reacts to TikToks featuring horrendous twisting of Judeo-Christian scripture texts and stories. According to Wikipedia, Ben Shapiro practices orthodox Judaism, which informs his views. I like the way he intersperses cultural and other imagery that drives home his commentary. I’ve actually found a number of his commentaries to also be equally respectful and honoring, rightfully citing violations of the Christian faith through trending ideologies, as well.

In coming back to this video this afternoon, I noticed that the very first TikTok has text that states: Ghey Bible Stories told by a Witch. Since the Old Testament strictly prohibits witchcraft and the New Testament warns Christians to not be deceived or otherwise bewitched by those who preach other, false gospels, that are not in accord with the message of Jesus and the scriptures, I believe those seeking to follow Jesus in the purity of the Christian faith should exercise discernment in these ongoing assaults on individuals, the family, and people of faith, through what in actuality is the Gender Ideology Religious Cult.

This cult thinking and its doctrines are infiltrating the body of Christ.

Many believe the essence of witchcraft is to control others. The subject of witchcraft and sorcery and its connection to a number of social evils is another topic in-and-of-itself that deserves attention.

I suppose I should give a warning of both disturbing content and language expletives from both the TikTok-ers and the commentator. I am not sharing these because they are perfect examples of response to all that is being put forth out there, but to raise awareness that there is quite a lot of ideological and linguistic sleight-of-hand going on that is confusing those who want to follow Jesus and may fear being labeled hateful to speak up for that which is true. Twisting and distortions of the things of God go back to the beginning of man.
