How long would you–or could you–keep working diligently day by day without a clear indication of benefit and outcome?
On Friday I delved into the process of retroactively creating YouTube videos of various gigs from the recent past, and have come to a pausing point today, Sunday, having put enough on yet another new business website I recently created called Creative Party Entertainment–Central PA.
As part of this endeavor and wanting to scour, purge and otherwise continue organizing the plethora of computer images and videos from the past, I cleverly (ha ha) created yet another folder on one of my three desktop hard drives (definitely needed and utilized) called “Gigs on YouTube.” This should be a definitive way (if I can remember it!) to keep track of gigs I have created a YouTube/blog post about and those I have yet to do.
As I organize the many photos and videos, I can put them in a “To Make Videos” folder which now resides inside “Gigs on YouTube” folder. If it sounds complicated (and overwhelming), it is. When I get in the “zone” for such focus, I should keep going for hours and hours and hours, so it would seem…
I also created a printout to easily remind myself of the needed tags on each YouTube video and each blog post on the “party” site. Oh…maybe in my spare time I will get around to tagging anything put on the Visual Design Arts site, properly, or for that matter here, on my personal blog under Live Art Event Photos.
Oh, and I thought to create a Photoshop template to create more quickly a streamlined featured image to put into WordPress posts relating to various gigs.
Hmph. And I wonder to myself…how much longer can I endure all of this?
