- “Robert graduated from W. Va. Wesleyan College in 1932 and taught mathematics and music for 40 years. After retirement he began a nursery of shrubbery and ornamental trees for his son, Tom, when he retired from the Army.”3
*note* ~ As far as I know, I and other family members were told that Robert died in a flash flood in West Virginia. I was told around the time it happened that he went out to get his car and was swept away. I don’t know for certain and this needs some research.
