So I’ve been experimenting with an app where I can narrate video clips and also have my Spotify app running too…and then I have a program where I can join them together.
I’m doing some thinking on variations of my typical social media communications. I often take many images from what I’m doing here each day and then write up commentary which can be lengthy.
I do know some like to see artwork in stages. I interact in a variety of ways…but having actual voice narration adds new qualities that I enjoy and maybe sometimes others might also. Also wondering if I could do some painting demonstration videos for YouTube.
I do listen to music all day and as I understand it, I can use music backgrounds in my personal videos but can’t monetize them. That isn’t my goal anyway per se on YouTube…it is just a way to communicate with friends, clients, family etc sometimes and promote my work and what I do. My life here is comingled with art and other “goings on” – projects, post-divorce recovery rebuilding, chickens, cats….ha ha….
I did this on Friday in snippets…and joined them. I’ve browsed it…kind of interesting but lengthy in total. Next attempts will be edited in shorter sections, perhaps. It can be paused or fast-forwarded of course! I wouldn’t do this daily of course, but perhaps here and there. And intersperse with artwork demo only pieces.
I did make a bunch of videos this weekend on my job at the UD in Newark Saturday night and other activities. I need some time to edit through them before sharing those, but I had a great weekend!
I would love any feedback on this…what kind of device you viewed it on (the video seems fast-moving and choppy in quality but I kind of think that makes it interesting…I don’t think I can control this…I’m just dabbling with amateur stuff, ha ha!) and which parts you found most interesting…might help me think on how to navigate this new and fun medium of video expression.
Thanks for taking a look!
