Caricature of Jane Kirsch Upon Retirement from INTO Mason (George Mason University)

May 24, 2022

Another retirement studio watercolor caricature gift has been completed for INTO Mason (at George Mason University) – this time, a happy hour presentation for Jane Kirsch!

Jane has been in charge of the INTO Mason faculty library and resources, and taught, for many years!

She loves Japan…and has cats!

She will be retiring to North Carolina, so I was asked to include her Virginia license plate, too.

I heard back that “she really liked it!”

The joy I feel when clients communicate their feelings about my work and how gifts were received brings such meaning to all I do and strive for as an artist.   I am humbled when I think about the number of people who have personal and family keepsakes in their homes all across the United States and some pieces abroad.  Many of these works will be passed down through generations.   I am grateful to God for the gift He has given me and my good fortune of being able to work as a full-time artist.
