Four Recent Caricature Gigs Set to Music!

This audio-video shows photos from my most recent caricature gigs!

When I am at events I enjoy the little conversations I have with each person I draw. I remember little snippets of things they tell me about themselves as I ask questions in order to listen and get them to engage with me while I try to quickly capture them.

What I may ask in general depends on the event. At the Jefferson College event the most obvious questions to each students were along the lines of what year are you…what is your major and where are you from?

I remember funny little things such as one student from New Jersey asking me if “Delaware” was close to them there, in Philadelphia! This made me smile…although I’m not the best at my own geolocation often times!

I asked the little girl from one of my drawings yesterday how old she was…she was a squirming cutie and told me she was “three!“

I rhetorically asked “what is is like to be three?”

Of course expecting no real answer to such an existential question!
