They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I plan to make this post mainly images (with some narration interspersed). So if my math is right, this post contains at least sixty-thousand words (plus, actual words, ha ha!)
__________
But before I begin, I want to tell one of two jokes I’ve ever found memorable enough to memorize. It is unrelated to this post (the joke I will tell) except that my title brought the joke to mind.
Here’s the joke:
A blonde woman walks into a library and goes up to the counter and says, very loudly, “I’LL TAKE A BIG MAC, A LARGE COCA-COLA AND SOME FRIES, PLEASE!”
The librarian stares at her and says, “Madam, shhhh…this is a LIBRARY!!!”
The blonde woman pauses, looks all around her at people quietly reading books, and then leans in close to the librarian at the counter and says, in a hushed voice….“i’ll take a big mac, a large coca-cola and some fries, please.”

OK, now that I may have offended half of my potential readers with a blonde joke, ha, I will continue…
One of my friends from Delaware visited me the past three days and was a tremendous help and blessing to me! She helped me price and tag some items for an indoor yardsale I’m planning (I’m helping my son sell some vintage and other items that came with his new home – an old Pennsylvania farmhouse).
Yesterday and today we also worked with oil enamel paint on several projects requiring that. She helped me take down my Christmas lights (it was a beautiful day today, very warm!), and also helped plant okra seeds for me indoors.
How much of a blessing for good friends to visit, help, and have fun…we watched a few movies, too, and enjoyed some good food.
She left around five today, and quite honestly, I was exhausted. Having already put in a long day finishing up the painting projects, which included an Etsy order for a sunflower mailbox which also requires this oil enamel paint (for metal and glass and very messy…with an odor, too), doing dishes and other things…I then made it up to Dollar General to buy popsicle sticks to mark the seeds planted, before I lose track.
Got home…even more exhausted…but…I need to keep pressing forward. Truly.
At this point around almost 8pm, though I am so grateful for my friend Lucy’s visit and help…I’m thinking, amusingly…
“I’ll Take Seven Clones (with magic wands), PLEEEZE??!!!”

Enjoy the photos and narrative progression!
There is joy by the end…yes…joy…peace…strength…endurance…perseverance…gratitude…and…fun!
Now, I think it was around this point as I was listening to George Winston, a piece came on that just felt right…as background to all this…and I put it on loop. It’s one of my favorites and whenever the playlist goes through so many, it always catches my ears and I look at the title, once again…
I think this was a turning point giving me a second wind and even a sense of joy…I became less overwhelmed and took pleasure in all this.
There is a wonderful book called Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience
I’m going to put a break here and insert the music that helped me achieve this optimal experience tonight….and then continue with more my images of this evening…

The rest of the photos below were from Sunday and earlier today.

Well, this post served as my wind-down time fun tonight. Helps me decompress. And I’m even about to make it to bed by midnight, as I do most nights.
Tomorrow is another day…night y’all….
