There is no disease more generally dreaded than the one beginning with “C.” I am not speaking of “Covid” but I am speaking of “Cancer.”
As there are several intersecting thoughts I want to talk about in this series, I am going to create sections. And allow the reader’s own neural pathways to pull these seemingly disparate parts together as they rightfully intersect. I anticipate this series will have at least five parts, and at some point when I finish, perhaps I will assemble each part into one longer piece for re-emphasis, or, clear emphasis and interconnection.
First, what is it that makes a cancer cell distinct from a normal cell, and why is it so dreaded and deadly? I am not a biologist, and most readers are likely not that either, but I think most will understand the gist of a sound-bitted few statements that generally answer that question.
